That's where the BISTRO SMART CAT FEEDER comes in! This smart feeder allows cat parents and guardians to check up on their beloved kitties' food intake, allowing for complete observation of their pet's diet history.

You can also keep an eye on your pets from wherever you are with the Bistro app (available on Android and IOS). You will be able to review eating and drinking habits and Bistro will automatically warn you when the water level and feeder runs low, alerting you to refill it in advance.
Background
Mu-Chi, the founder of 42ARK, created the Bistro after he found one of his cats, Momo, suddenly paralyzed on the floor and groaning in pain. The vet diagnosed pancreatitis, which had caused her to stop eating normally for days without Mu-Chi noticing. Even though there was no sign of improvement in his beloved cat's condition, Mu-Chi made up his mind to do everything he could to save her. Momo went on to have surgery to amputate her hind legs and finally recovered a month later. She is now able to walk by herself with her two legs.
This unfortunate incident inspired Mu-Chi and his team to build Bistro, "the smartest pet feeder with cat face recognition technology" to help prevent "such sorrow from ever happening again".

Amazing ! Purrs
We think that's a really clever idea for cats with free access to food all day every day. It seems like the facial recognition technology could be used for other things for cats, too, and we are looking forward to hearing what they come up with.
That is truly amazing! If it is capable of recognizing eight different cats, I might very well consider it, even at that steep price (which doesn't seem bad for what it does). Thanks so much for sharing this information. Please join us Monday for our 2nd blogoversary and giveaway. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
