Wordless Wednesday (a bit wordy today)

As a rescue kitty myself, adopted from Wood Green, I like to do my bit to help other kitties find their forever homes.

My mum has this rescue board on Pinterest and likes to share it where ever she can because there are some very sad cats (and dogs and other animals) on there waiting desperately for a home. Mum is very emotional and it hurts her to see their sad eyes and dreads to think what will become of them if they don't get adopted. It is very sad  (most aren't given a chance and are killed, especially those in high-kill shelters) and we want to do all we can to help.

Perhaps you are looking for a new pet? Or maybe you know someone who is? If you can't adopt yourself at present, then please do your best to network for these animals whenever you can. We know a lot of you give your time to do this, and also help out in many other ways. Good on you! The world needs more people like you.

  1. I don't understand why all kitties don't have awesome homes like you and I do, Athena. My human says I have a lot to learn.

  4. I know, it's so heartbreaking. Mum is doing a fine job helping in this way. These beautiful babies all need the chance to give the love they have and have their own forever home.
