There I was, enjoying a lovely peaceful Easter Monday when I realized Mum was no longer in the room. Where had she sneaked off to? And how dare she leave me alone!
I sauntered over to the patio door, peeped outside, and what did I see?

And Mum was on her knees taking photos of it!
WHY? WHY? WHY?
A million thoughts flashed through my mind.
Why would she need to photograph this ginger bushy tail fur ball when she had me?
Surely I'm the purrfect model?
Surely I'm more beautiful?
I cannot tell you all how deeply shocked and upset this made me feel.

Oh, I wouldn't worry, Athena - especially since that kitty was walking away from your human! He couldn't be all that into your human if he was turning his back to her while she was trying to photograph him.
