Wordless Wednesday

Mum is sad today because she is thinking about her dad, who passed away exactly five years ago. I never knew him in this life as I was yet to be born but he sounds like a cool guy.

Mum says he was quite an animal lover. Well, he really loved horses and he was always very kind and loving towards Mum's other cats.

Mum believes that he sent me to her because she was very sad and depressed after he passed away.

So today I am going to be extra busy giving Mum extra loving cuddles and purrs to soothe her hurting soul.

Here I am on her lap purring my magic healing on her...

healing purrs

I believe some of us are sent to certain people for a reason. My momma says I am her 'one' - and I do believe that it can be so. Thinking of you...

My mom gets sad too when she misses her dad. It is hard to lose a parent. We never met our grandpa either.

Pets come into our lives for many reasons, some we will never be able to explain. Your mum is probably "spot on" in her understanding of how the two of you came to be a family. I believe she is correct. Enjoy each other - forever.

Athena, you may not have known your Mom's dad in person, but I believe you know him through spirit. As your mom said, he sent you to her when she needed you and you all share a bond of love.

Life is hard. But we are sure pets have the ability to see loved ones that have passed on.

Definitely agree. Pets have the power to heal and people that have that and understand it are so lucky.

Yes, definitely agree. Pets know spirit more than some humans do. I am sure Athena sees my dad around sometimes.
