A Wordy Whiskers Wednesday

A wordy Wednesday today.

As you can see I am roaring mad...

roaring cat

Why?

Well, because Mum has been two-timing me with the neighbour's cat, that's why!

I mean, why would she want to photograph another cat, this newbie on the block, when she has me?

Am I not enough?

Another thing I'm worried about is that Mum and Granny have started packing boxes and getting rid of old furniture and stuff. Lots and lots of stuff! I know they are preparing for our move and Mum has convinced Granny to declutter.

I don't know if I'm looking forward to the move if I'm honest. Mum says it's not for a few week's yet, and I will really love the new house as it has more rooms to explore. But I'm not sure.

I bet bully cat and all the other imposters here will be celebrating when I've gone to a new place.

I don't understand why Mum is really excited about moving but at the same time very stressy to be around. So is Granny.

And me? Well, I try my best to keep them calm with my soothing purrs and being the provider of lots of love and affection. I love napping with Mum in the afternoon. And at night I curl up next to her on the bed. This is our favourite time of all.

I don't think Mum will bring that other cat indoors to sleep on our bed will she?

If she does then I'll know she doesn't love me anymore.

That bed is just for me and her.

I wonder what our new bedroom will be like?

The best part about moving, Athena, is that you won't have that neighbor cat around for your human to pay attention to!

As long as you have your Mum and Grandma , you will be happy anywhere. Wouldn't it be nice to have a sibling-maybe you could take in other cat? I know you would still be #1.

Moving is always stressful, Athena, especially for humans. You are a good kitty to stay calm and help Mum and your grandma with your lovely purrs.

Mum will always love you most of all, Athena. You don't need to worry!

Athena is a jealous girl, but I love her more than anything :)

I think it's funny how humans need so much stuff and spend ages getting rid of it or move it around.

I like being an only cat. I can't deal with sharing Mum.

Well...the GOOD thing is that your Mom can't cheat on you anymore since you are moving...but...wait! There could be kitties at your new place! OHHHH NOOOO! No worries Athena, your Mum would NEVER EVER let another kitty sleep in YOUR rightful place!
We are THRILLED to hear that your Mum is excited about the move, if SHE is excited, you will be too...just think...all of those NEW rooms to explore!
It's normal for Mums to be stressed when they move, it's A LOT of work!

Love the shot of your yawning (or is it screaming)!! I've moved with mom 4 different times and while the moving part is difficult I've settled in each time just fine! I'm sure all will go well!!Love, Toby
