Volunteers' Week (1-7 June 2017) #CharityTuesday

This week it is Volunteers’ Week, which is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. It takes place from 1st-7th June every year. 

We don't have enough words to thank the amazing volunteers who look after all the cats at Wood Green. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here with my mum. I dread to think what would have happened if someone hadn't been kind enough to take me to this great charity when I was dumped on the streets as a kitten.

Volunteers are remarkable people, giving up their spare time to help others.

Happy Volunteer's Week to all the kind folk who help those less fortunate 💚 And let's not forget all the lovely animals that also volunteer to help humans.💜

This lovely girl is Blossom, who came to Wood Green because she was stressed in her previous home. She loves people and having a fuss, but would like to be the only pet in her new home. As Blossom is deaf, she would need a home in a low traffic area, so that she still can experience being outdoors. If you want a lovely, affectionate companion like Blossom, find out more HERE
