Black and White Cats Matter Too
Did you know that in the UK 75% of cats are black and white "Tuxedos"? Two of Mum's past cats were black and white, and she says they were amazing cats, especially Suzy. Unfortunately, Mum's first Tuxie, Cas, disappeared.
But just like all black cats, black and white cats are overlooked by many humans when choosing a cat. They can spend a lot longer in shelters awaiting adoption.
That's why, when Tuxedo Cat contacted us to give them a mention here, we thought why not? This fab website aims to give a voice to Tuxedo cats, helping "to spread the message that just because a cat looks common there is nothing common about the infectious personalities and enthusiasm for life that you get from a Tuxedo Cat!"

And as we are celebrating the beauty of the Tuxie cat, here are a couple of beauties awaiting loving forever homes at Wood Green, the Animal Charity.
Every Charity Tuesday we like to feature some rescue kitties from the charity as it's one of the main ones we support (and I came from there!)

We are sad to see that Queen Whisper is still waiting for a new forever home. You may remember that we featured her last Tuesday. She's so sweet. We hope she finds a loving new home soon.

Such lovely black and white kitties! I hope they find a home soon.
We LURV black-and-white kitties! Our Angel is cow-colored; mostly white with big black splotches, on her back and head. She is a peach!
Gorgeous tuxies ... they're always dressed and ready to go!
I had no idea that was true of tuxies in the UK. Interesting!
Oh you guys! I hope you find your forever homes soon! And I'm surprised the percentage is that high in the UK - 75%! Wow!
