Caturday Art: May the 4th Be With You #StarWarsDay

Friday, May 4 is Star Wars Day. 

So in honour of that day, Mum went to PiZap  and used the Galaxy filter to create a spacey effect. Previously, she had spent ages searching for Star Wars filters but just couldn't find any she liked so created her own here. 

In the photo, I am sitting at Mum's bedroom window with streaks of sunlight beaming in behind me, which looked stunning in itself. But the pic then inspired Mum to get more creative so here is the result. Mum, who is a perfectionist when it comes to her creative endeavours, isn't that pleased with it but says it'll do for today's Star Wars theme.

Later last night Mum searched for photo apps on her iPhone and remembered the PicsArt app. It's changed a lot since she last used it, and for the better. Just look at this fantastic creation. Mum first went to Magic and then Galaxy filter (or something like that). And it only took a few minutes to create, which pleased Mum even more! 

Mum says Star Wars brings back memories of her childhood. I think it's cool! She and my Uncle John used to listen to this soundtrack all the time. Probably drove Granny mad!
