Music Moves Me Blog Hop

Mum wanted to take part in the Music Moves Me blog hop hosted by Curious as a Cathy and XMas Dolly.  We were introduced to the hop by our lovely friend Stunning Keisha and as Mum is music mad it sounded fun to have a go.

The theme for this week is, of course, Earth Day.

First up is this amazing masterpiece by Mum's favourite band, Nightwish. It's an epic and incredible 24 minutes long but it's well listening to because it is just so moving and deep! As inhabitants of this glorious planet, we can all relate!

From another great Symphonic Metal band, Epica - This is The Time

From one of Mum's favourite 80s bands Duran Duran - Planet Earth

From  Black Sabbath - Hole in the Sky

And this one from Ozzy Osbourne  - Revelation Mother Earth

That's all we can think about for now. Hope you enjoy watching/listening!

Enjoy your week 😻

I was not familiar with Nightwish. I don't have time to listen to the whole thing right now, but what I heard is incredible. XO

I bet you and I share a lot of common musical interests; I am a music fanatic, too! I think I saw Nightwish a while back, but now I can't remember as I'm not too overly familiar with them. Sadly, I think my metal days are over, at least for the time being.

Loved all your selections, and what I heard of the Nightwish song was pretty phenomenal. Maybe I can listen to it in its entirety soon! There were so many good metal and heavier songs about the planet. I was surprised to see so many when I was researching my own MMMM selections.

I haven't seen Nightwish live yet. But they're an amazing band. And I do love metal! However, I have an eclectic taste and I do like most music. Not keen on modern music though (apart from Symphonic Metal and rock).

Yeah, it is long, but most of the best Nightwish songs are!
