#CaturdayArt Apologies for Not Being Around Much

Happy Caturday!

Apologies that we haven't been around in the blogosphere much. We're still adjusting to life in a semi-rural town. We are both London girls so it's not easy, but we're not complaining! We are so glad to be away from all the noise, the hustle and bustle of city life.

Mum is busy. Always busy. And she hasn't been paying me much attention lately, so you know what I do? I sleep all day and then I wake her up at 3 am (hee hee 😸). I then want food, so she gives me food. Then water. Then kitty grass. Then when she goes back to bed I start pounding my paws on the wardrobe door. I want to play! So she sits up in bed, half asleep, twirling the dangly toy or feather toy or moving it along the floor slowly as if it were prey for me to catch. I love our new bedroom because compared to our old one it is huge. It has room for me to run around in. It's fun!

After Mum feels I've had enough playtime she settles back into bed. But then I start meowing and pounding on the wardrobe door again. So she gets up, moans and tells me I'm a naughty girl and goes down to the kitchen and feeds me some of my Bozita chicken from the fridge.

I have to add here that I have lost a bit of weight since coming here and Mum says I needed too. She needs to as well. Drinking and snacking in times of stress has done her no good at all. Purrs and hugs to Mum. I love her really xx

This week's art was made with PicsArt on Mum's iPhone.

You are a beauty, Athena! And you have a lot in common with Thimble, who loves to wake her mommy up at 4 am. Your new home may be a change, but it sure does sound like a wonderful place to be. Purrs!
