Sunday Selfie with my Massive Eyes

Sunday Selfie

Friendly Fill-Ins

1. My favorite subject in school was _______________.
2. An extracurricular activity I participated in was ___________________________.
3. I want to learn _________.
4. It takes courage to _________.

Marie's answers:
1  My favourite subject at school was English
2. An extracurricular activity I participated in was none. School years were unhappy ones so I couldn't wait to get home.
3. I want to learn to DIY. Being a single lady I don't have a man to help with jobs around the house but who cares? It's the 21st Century!
4. It takes courage to beat phobias and addictions and people that don't understand or have any experience with mental health issues shouldn't judge or make snide comments about it.

Athena's answers:
1. My favourite subject at school was being naughty. OK, I'm a cat so I didn't go to school.
2. An extracurricular activity I participated in was being naughty.
3. I want to learn to write like Mum but I only have paws.
4. It takes courage to be human, from what I've seen of my mum's struggles.

Great selfie.
I'm a DIY gal (human) and it can be a lot of fun. You can learn to do lots of stuff watching all the videos that are online. The hard part is having all the right tools. Some home improvement centers will rent them, or you can ask neighbors. It helps keep the DIY costs down, especially if it's a tool you'll need only once or twice. I do love my jigsaw and my cordless drill.

Your selfie is a lovely one and your comment on mental health a valid one. I am hoping more is coming out into the open, sadly people are having to pass away for this to happen.

Those are big eyes, Athena and gorgeous! But then, you are always gorgeous. Exceptionally great job on the fill-ins. Mom's teen years were none too happy either, and so she didn't want to go home! Thanks for hopping over to see us.

Beautiful selfie. Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. I am sorry your school years were tough, I didn't really enjoy mine either, there were too many nasty kids.
Athena, if you join Cat Scouts, you can go to school. I agree with your Mum's statement on #4. No one should judge another until they have walked in their shoes. XO

Thank you. Life can be so cruel.

Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty said...

Yes, it is. I just need to build my confidence because I worry I might ruin my lovely new home :)

Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty said...

Very true. When you have a mental health problem most people think you can just pull yourself out of it but you can't. It's an illness, just like any other but because it isn't clearly visible (physically) people are quick to judge and make nasty remarks. That really gets me down. I can't help the way I am.

Thank you :)

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Marie and Athena! Learning to DIY is such a great answer, and something I need to work on. I love to be independent, but certain tasks are just not up my alley. Athena, you are a very wise girl, and you are very right about humanity. Luckily, your mom has adorable you by her side, Athena. Purrs!

Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty said...

Same here. I need to be more independent!

Jaw dropping beauty! Tell your mom that DIY purr-ojects always seem to take longer than the humans predict they will. Tee hee hee.
