Happy Birthday, Mum! #CaturdayArt

Posting Caturday Art a day earlier because today is Mum's birthday and I wanted to show you the card I made (with her help, of course) 😻💖

And we used the Psychedelic Art Effect from LunaPic to make it even artsier.

Talking of psychedelic, Mum was born during the latter half of the Swinging Sixties. She is proud of that fact because she really believes British music was at its best then. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc. But not just British acts though, American legends The Doors and Jimi Hendrix were amazing too.

What was Number One the day you were born?

Mum found this great website where you put in your birthdate and place of birth and it tells you what song was at Number One in the charts at the time.

She got "Sunny Afternoon" by another great British band of the time, The Kinks. And the funny thing is that Mum was indeed born in the afternoon at 3:45pm. Granny can't remember if it was a sunny day. Mum reckons it was probably thundering because it normally does on her birthday!

Isn't this the most purrfect song for us cats, though? Nothing better than lazing on a sunny afternoon, isn't there?

Come on, it's summer, it's hot, so let's just celebrate being lazy and chilled out. Come on, Mum, you too!
