World Yoga Day #CaturdayArt

Happy Caturday!

Yesterday was World Yoga Day

As I'm a cat I don't need to do yoga as I stretch all the time and know it does me good! Humans really need to watch us felines and learn but Mum would rather read about it. She's been practising yoga on and off for years. She's back on again, as she's decided to get fit since giving up the booze last month.

Fear not though, as there won't be any photos of Mum demonstrating Yoga poses for you 😻

If only you could see what I see while she's doing her Yoga practice. In some poses, she just looks too weird 🙀

She uses our bedroom and places a purple mat on the floor because there is a lot of room in our new house. I watch her as I rest nearby, usually on the bed, as I'm doing in our Caturday Art for today. If only I could pick up the iPhone and snap some pics of her. That would be a laugh! The best pose is when she tries to be a cat. I can see she really enjoys that.

I end up feeling sleepy watching her in this calm state. I'm glad it's helping her with her anxiety issues, plus it helps me too because the last thing a cat needs is a nervous human. Chilling out is our speciality and that's another thing humans need to learn from us wise ones. I could write a whole book on kitty wisdom, but I need Mum to do it and she is busy with other projects right now. I'm happy she's starting to write again, as long as she continues to put my needs first!

So here's my Caturday Art for today. Mum chose the frame from SuperPhoto.

My Momma is pretty much incapable of yoga ... which is probably a blessing for the rest of us!

That is a super-cool frame and effect! My human thinks we cats are best at Shavasana... I'm not sure how I feel about her saying that!

I am glad the yoga is helping your mum to relax. That is a lovely frame for your beautiful self, Athena.

We love the stacked framing your Mom did on your photo. Our Mom says she needs to start back doing her yoga.

Humans have to work hard to do what comes naturally to us cats! Silly, huh?

I love your art, that is such a pretty frame. I tried yoga, but I didn't like being in a class, I should try a dvd at home. Thanks for hosting. XO

Pretty art today Athena! Cats have the yoga thing down, humans have the thumb thing down - MOL!

Love the colors in that frame. Seeing TW doing yoga would burn my eyeballs so I could never get the image out. She used to dance in the house and I still can't unsee that.

We bet we would get quite the interesting views if Mom did yoga too. You have a great viewing location, Athena. And we love that frame - it is a "super frame"!!

We never tried to do yoga yet. We would just love to see you fall asleep as your mom is doing her yoga poses on the mat. Thanks for sharing the artwork. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.

I think yoga would be beneficial for me too. Need to make some time to try it :)

Every two weeks, a nice lady at my office teaches a yoga class at lunchtime. I LURV it, and yet I can do so much more. Downloading yoga classes to my laptop is the first step!
