Always Adopt a Pet (Don't Buy) #charitytuesday

tabby cat graphic

As a rescue cat myself, I love doing my bit to help other kitties who are looking for their forever humans.

As always, I like to feature at least one rescue cat currently residing at the wonderful Wood Green, The Animals Charity as this is where I met my mum and it's one of the charities we continue to support.

Beautiful Jasmine says she would like a quiet adult only home "where I can be given all of the love in the world."

I totally get that, Jasmine. A home like I have would be pawmazing for you and I am hoping you get one as soon as possible. You deserve it!

What else do you like to do, Jasmine?

"Well, I like to spend my days pottering around in the garden, but I also enjoy snuggles in the evenings. I nice lap would do very nicely!"

If you are interested in adopting this sweet and affectionate 9-year-old lady cat please check out her profile here. She is at the Heydon Centre.

Ever thought of adopting a cat from Cyprus?

This is LAYLA. She is a very loving, friendly and sociable kitten.

Find out more about her at Cyprus Pride House

Overlooked cats

Sadly, there are so many overlooked cats urgently needing forever homes everywhere. Here is a list of UK rescue shelters and charities from the cat rescue resource CatChat.org , with details of harder to home senior cats, black cats, special needs cats, FIV+ cats and feral/farm cats.

More homeless pets looking for forever homes can be found on my Mum's Pinterest Pet Rescue board.
Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post. As a rescue kitty myself I want to help other rescues find their forever home, so each week on Charity Tuesday I share adoptable cats from Wood Green, the Animals Charity (which is where I was rescued) and some other charities dear to our hearts. Mum and I are so grateful to Wood Green because without them we would never have found each other!

We also need to get the public to understand that spay and neuter is the best way to end the over-population!
