Tinky for Tabby Tuesday and Sweet Donna #adoptdontshop

As a rescued kitty I want to help other cats get adopted!

TINKY

From Wood Green, The Animal Charity:

This lovely girl is Tinky who has come into us with her friend  Betty so they are looking for a home together. Tinky is a very affectionate cat who likes a fuss and a groom. She spends lots of time anywhere warm in the house but on a sunny day likes to sunbath in the sun."

DONNA

DONNA (Photo: Nine Lives Greece)

Sweet Donna is a Nine Lives Greece cat who was found abandoned, starving and terrified in a park. She must have had a home before because she had already been neutered.

"Approximately 9 months old, Donna has one bad eye which she most likely was born with. However, it doesn’t need any medical treatment and she can see well with her other eye. She’s a cuddly and playful cat who would be better as the only cat in her new home so she can be queen of the house."

Overlooked cats in Britain

Sadly, there are so many overlooked cats urgently needing forever homes everywhere. Here is a list of UK rescue shelters and charities from the cat rescue resource CatChat.org, with details of harder to home senior cats, black cats, special needs cats, FIV+ cats and feral/farm cats.

Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post. As a rescue kitty myself I want to help other rescues find their forever home, so each week on Charity Tuesday I share adoptable cats from Wood Green, the Animals Charity (which is where I was rescued) and some other charities dear to our hearts. Mum and I are so grateful to Wood Green because without them we would never have found each other! Please note: We are here to help cats and give our time freely. We also ensure that to the best of our knowledge and research other lesser-known charities mentioned are legit.

I was at our local rescue center yesterday, and the amount of kitties looking for homes makes me heartsick! If The Hubby would allow it, I'd be up to my armpits in cats. But he knows that quality of life is important, and we are caring for five cats. Maybe another twin set if Angel leaves us, but she is hale and I don't want to lose one day with her in it!
