Happy Monday
It's our own music choice today but Mum has, in fact, come up with a theme of throwback music videos from 4 decades. These are all favourite songs of Mum's. She was born in 1966, so here are the Beatles first from that year.

From 1986 - the 80s were her decade she says
SPANDAU BALLET - Through The Barricades
And the 90s weren't that great for her Mum says but there were some good tunes around like this one. Mum says she remembers dancing to this during her clubbing days (though she can't remember much from that time MOL)

Some great tunes here girlfriend. I do have to say Eleanor Rigby has been a favorite of mine for a long, long time. The other tunes are all new to me. Have a great week and thanks for rockin' out with us once again! HUGS

Your mum was born the same year as my baby brother. Unfortunately, he passed shortly after his 40th birthday. "Eleanor Rigby" is a song I learned when I was in elementary school band class. At the time, I don't think I knew that it was a Beatles' song, though. I was horrible with identifying artists with song titles. I'm still not the best but I'm learning. :) The rest of Marie's song picks are totally new-to-me, so it was a special joy to my ears for these new discoveries here this morning. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with me, my little furriend. Have a boogietastic and pAwesome day!

Eleanor Rigby is a favorite song from my teen years = it really spoke to the teen me. Spandau Ballet's song was new to me, although they aren't. The big surprise was Music. I enjoyed it! Thank you for the magical tour.
