Happy Earth Day!
You will have seen this artsy graphic of me healing the world before. I love it and so here it is again for Earth Day. I always send healing purrs to Mother Earth. She needs it more than ever now and so does everyone who lives on this beautiful planet (excluding evil people).
This year Earth Day is going digital for obvious reasons.
From EarthDay.Org
On Earth Day, April 22, 2020, we have two crises: One is the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The other is a slowly building disaster for our climate.
We can, will and must solve both challenges. The world was not prepared for the novel coronavirus. But we still have time to prepare — in every part of the world — for the climate crisis.
The coronavirus pandemic does not shut us down. Instead, it reminds us of what’s at stake in our fight for the planet. If we don’t demand change to transform our planet and meet our climate crisis, our current state will become the new normal — a world where pandemics and extreme weather events span the globe, leaving already marginalized and vulnerable communities even more at risk.

Beautiful. Yes, the world sure needs lots of purrs.
Happy Earth Day, Athena and Mum. Yes, indeed, the world needs all of our help to heal.
You created a beautiful Earth Day art. Purrs for the Earth.
Happy Earth Day ! Purrs
Happy Earth Day! Because of everyone staying at home, Los Angeles has some of the best air in, like, 100 years.
Happy Earth Day. It's amazing seeing how the Earth is already trying to heal herself - but we have such a long way to go. Will we have the wisdom to grab this head start we gave the Earth and sustain it?
Love that pillow, that is perfect for a lot of people we know who live alone with a kitty.
Your Earth Day art is lovely. We live very close to the edge of Dartmoor and have very clear skies at night, but since so much has shut down and there is less traffic, the sky is even clearer. The stars seem to have multiplied with the good clear darkness at night.
We can see a TV mast in Cornwall about 30 miles away and have always been able to see the red lights clearly on it, but now they are so much brighter.
It is a pity that when things eventually get back to normal, the clarity will probably lessen again too.
Mother Nature can be very kind, if we treat her well.
Happy Earth Day!
Well done, Athena. You're such a wonderful goddess.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. My best to your mom. ♥
Beautiful sentiment Athena, just beautiful! xoxo
I love your graphics. Happy Earth Day! XO
There is such a deep sense of tranquility and happiness we feel for Mother Gaia and all nature right now. So much healing taking place. Many will learn from this, but sadly many won't.
It is those that learn from this experience that will evolve. This is a new chapter for all beings on this beautiful planet.
