Mewsic Moves Me Bands Beginning With F

Happy Monday!

We hope you had a nice weekend and are keeping well.

Today's Mewsic Moves Me is Pick Your Own Choices so we are continuing with our alphabetical theme. This week we are on F.

FLEETWOOD MAC - Dreams

A classic from one of Mum's favourite bands with one of her all-time fave female vocalists/songwriters Stevie Nicks taking the lead vocal on this one. She also wrote the song.

FOO FIGHTERS - Times Like These

FREE - All Right Now

FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD - Two Tribes

Back to the 80s with this one. A time Mum says was hers - when she was young and ambitious, and everything seemed possible.

NOW I wish our mom participated in this one! She would have chosen all of these as well, including The Fray and Foreigner.

Athena & Marie,

What a fabulous decade the 80s was for mewsic and movies! I graduated high school 1980. My goodness that was forever go, wasn't it? lol It's funny I can't remember a tremendous amount from that period as much as I feelings associated with songs from that era. For most of the decade I spent primarily in school and working, then things changed in '88 with the birth of our first child after which my memory is even foggier. Still I have emotions linked to mewsic and films from the 80s. I just love the era! Thanks for sharing and filling me with some good vibes. Have a boogietastic week, furriends!

Cathy - Yes, the 80s had some great music and bands. I was in my teens for most of the decade so I have fond memories of going to gigs and seeing the top bands of the day like Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Wham and George Michael.

Fleetwood Mac is rather young there aren't they? Totally cool & love the song too! Your other choices are also awesome. You've totally rocked the house my friend. All Right Now is really awesome. I use to play that one all the time. Great job & thanks for the dance! hugs & stay healthy & safe.

Those are some great choices. Most of my favourite songs come from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Good times for music. As much as I like Free's song, my vote here is for Frankie Goes to Hollywood. "Two Tribes" is one awesome song. I think I remember a long version of this that had some interesting video that told a story about the "tribes". "Times Like These" is also a song with an important message. Nice set!
