Happy Mewsic Monday!

It's pick-your-own music today so here are bands beginning with the letter K.

The Kinks - You Really Got Me

Kaiser Chiefs - Misery Company

Kula Shaker - Grateful When You're Dead

And now for some weird hairdos from the 80s. Mum tells me she had a weirdo hairstyle too, but not this weird!

Kajagoogoo - Hang On

King - Love and Pride

Nik Kershaw - Wouldn't It Be Good

A&M,

Great mewsic set! Most of these I do not remember. I guess I was living under rock when they released. lol I didn't have weird hair in the 80s but I did get perms. I haven't had one in more than 32 years. Sometimes I wish that I'd get one but it's so much trouble and my hair has decent volume when it's not super short so I'm okay with it. ;) Have a boogietastic week and thanks for joining the 4M gang on the dance floor this week, my furriends! ;)

Such an adorable kitty! Does she rock & roll? hehehe I had a kitty that liked to dance. She was soooooooo funny! My oldest daughter loved cats. We had Midnight a long time, but when she went to Rainbow Heaven I tried getting another kitty for my daughter, and this kitty was evil. I swear she was mean, destructive and didn't listen. Never point your finger at her or she'd claw it off and hiss at you. The thing that broke the camel's back was when she peed in my suitcase and the pneumonia smell would not come out and they were expensive that my ma got for me. So sad & bye-bye kitty. I worked two jobs then and I never had time to train it or whatever so we gave her up and got a kitty. Yes a baby kitty called, "Midnite" and she was sent from kitty heaven and put that smile back on my baby's face. Anyway, sorry I go sidetracked. Great songs today girlfriend and kitty! So... WOW, THE KINGS, Kajagoogoo, and King - Love and Pride I really never heard of, but I can say girlfriend YOu have ROCKED the house! Thanks for playin' along with us. Talk to you soon I hope. You're duh best. Have a great day and be safe! HUGS

Pawsome picks!

Great picks! Last week, I watched a few music videos from the 80's and it struck me just how much music videos have changed (back when MTV was huge and most songs had pretty complex videos). Of course, hairstyles have changed just as much ... probably for the better.

I don't recall hearing any of those songs before.

I knew almost all of these songs but I haven't heard so many in so long. King, Kagagoogoo, and, best of all (next to the Kinks) was Nik Kershaw. Wouldn't it be nice t hear all these songs more often? I think I'm going to develop an earworm here!

Oh gosh, I just realized I said "Wouldn't it be Nice" instead of "Wouldn't it Be Good". Well, both sentences are true enough. Wouldn't it be good if we could live without a care....
