Happy Caturday😻
The art today was created using BeFunky. Mum forgot which effects she played with but it was probably a mix of Underpainting and either a light touch of Cartoonizer DLX or a light touch of Oilpanting DLX.
Here is the jigsaw
99Caturdayarttabbyday
Friday 30 April is National Tabby Day, and since we post our Caturday Art blog on Friday night (here in the UK), and no longer do a Feline Friday post, we just had to celebrate this special day somehow - so here we are doing just that!
April 30th is also National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day and as a rescue kitty myself, I love advocating for pet adoption (and Mum does too). There are so many lonely and sad homeless pets all over the world and they deserve a loving forever home.
So please, if you are wanting a pet, please try to adopt don't buy.
Most of you will know my rescue story but here is the short version.
I was born in May 2011 (my birthday is next week) and was found abandoned in someone's garden as a tiny kitten. The wonderful Wood Green, The Animals Charity took me in and looked after me until I was ready to find my forever home. It wasn't long until my Mum Marie came along after seeing me on the charity website. We met - touched finger to paw through the mesh - and it was instant love. I wanted her to be my mummy! On July 21, when I was just over 10 weeks old, I went home with my new mum and the rest is history!
You can read my rescue story here. The early part of the book is a fictionalized account of what happened to me before Mum came into my life.
Caturday Art is a chance for all pets and their humans to get creative
with their photos.
And if you're an artist feel free to share your animal art as well. We'd love to see it! But the focus of Caturday Art Blog Hop is to get artsy with your pet photos by adding filters (there are many free photo editors and apps available, as we're sure you all know.) Have fun!
