What Food Do You Feed Your Cat? #WhiskersWednesday

Read this post first if you haven't already.

Mum has really lost her trust in the pet food industry and is panicking about what pet food is safe.

But what do you feed your cats?

She has always fed me top food but she has her doubts about that too. And she's been reading about raw food but her instinct tells her that that isn't safe either.

This is what I've been eating regularly for the past few years until Mum switched me to Applaws in April. She stopped feeding me that rubbish last Tuesday after she heard about the recall as you can see in the linked post above.

Here is my regular food and what I am continuing with:

Arden Grange Light Chicken

Bozita Indoor & Sterilised Tetra Pak

Smilla Toothies Dental Care Treats

Mum buys from Zooplus and sometimes from Fetch.

What do you eat?

And other pets too - what do your humans feed you?

I've always worried about what we're feeding our babies. I always went for the good stuff too. My kitties loved Fancy Feast. Never had issues with that brand either. That was a long time ago. I can see moms concerns.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

When we first had cats, and learned about a food recall, I was scared to death!
We've switched food here and there over the years, and now are feeding two flavours of Natural Balance canned food to all four cats.
My plan is to go raw, when I am 100% in charge of feeding the cats. Since I'm working full-time, The Hubby has his paws in the process, and he refuses to consider raw.
There are several respected companies making frozen raw food, which needs to be thawed then served...that's pretty easy!

I feed a lot of Purina Pro Plan and some Hill's. I get emails from a place that keeps track of pet food recalls to be safe. XO

We have different foods over here, we eat mostly Purina Fancy Feast Pates. Nothing is overly safe these days so we all just have to be on alert and do the best we can. You look beautiful sweet Athena! Oh, we don't do raw either.

I eat raw food that my mom makes for me. ~Ernie

We mostly feed Ava Trader Joe's turkey and giblets or Wellness chicken and herring. They were both recommended by our vet. We watch alerts and such very carefully, just to be as safe as possible.

I mainly eat Stella and Chewy's frozen raw and freeze dried raw, or raw from another U.S. company local to us. Occasionally high-quality canned (Instinct most often). My human never feeds me anything that can be bought in the supermarket. She doesn't mind paying top dollar to feed me. You just need to keep an eye out these days for recalls.

I feed Fancy Feast and some Royal Canin in wet foods; and Hills Science Diet for 11+ year old cats in dry food.

Hi Athena, hope you're feeling fine, sweet girl๐Ÿ™ I only eat Bio food from Shesir, these are sachets, not the cans anymore, because my stomach didn't want it anymore, Shesir is from Italy and Ecostyle dry food Senior from the Netherlands. I have to admit that I never have felt any better than since I eat this. Hope you find out what's best for your tummy too. Good Luck Pawkisses for that๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ฝ๐Ÿ’ž
