We had lots of snow in Essex, England this week. It's too cold for me. All I want to do is find places in the house to make myself warm. Even with the heating on I feel the cold. Mum says we're not cold compared to all the other poor cats, animals and some humans out there that don't have a roof over their heads and somewhere warm and cosy to sleep.
I sleep on the bed, obiously. On Mum mostly, and also in front of the central heating radiators. Mum bought me a heating mat but it looks kind of weird to me. She's been trying to get me to sit on it but I'm having none of it. My granny uses it to warm her back when she's sitting on the sofa instead.
Anyway, here's my art for this Caturday. Mum used BeFunky arty filters again,

Love the underpainting art! It's been unseasonably cold here too. TW feels your mum's pain but she's found if she just puts a new mat or bed somewhere and doesn't bother me, I'll lay in/on it. She bought a pretty mat last month and laid it on my spot on the big bed. I wouldn't go near it. Then she took the same mat, turned it on the other side and placed it on one of the kitchen chairs and I spend hours on it.
No snow here but bitterly cold. It rained last night and added to all the solid ice outdoors. Night time temperatures have been between -7 and -9 but it is forecast to be milder from tomorrow. Of course that means the return of the heavy rain! Your art is lovely.
Yes, there's nothing like a warm Mom to keep you nice and cosy. You look quite happy posing for your Caturday Art. I must say the first one gives me the warm and fuzzies, though they are each singularly attractive. With you as the focus, how could it be any other way? Happy Christmas to you and yours.
The one good thing about a cold day is one can snuggle snuggle snuggle. and we know you are a snuggly cat...we like especially your oil paint effect. Happy snuggling away from the snow!

You always look gorgeous, Athena, and you do again in your photos today. Sometime it is hard to get warm. We spend lots of time on the radiators and huddled next to our humans in bed. Maybe you'll decide to try your heating mat. No likelihood of snow here in the foreseeable future - or even rain! But snuggling up on the bed (or better still, IN the bed) is still a great idea.
