1. This weekend, I plan to sort out some paperwork and do the housework.
2. Being with Athena never disappoints. Even if she gets me up early!
3. I once saw a massive spider walking behind me on the sofa. It almost got near my shoulder. We'd been refurbishing our house when I was a kid and I was sitting there with my dad. Don't know what I would have done if I was alone. I must have screamed though. I have had arachnophobia ever since.
4. You’ll never hear me say "I'm gonna sunbathe." I never will and never have done. I can't stand the heat and I don't see the point of barbecuing yourself. I like being pale.

I don't sunbathe either. I inherited my grandmother's Irish skin type and only have to look at the sun and I burn. I hate it when the temperature goes above 20C.
Athena, dear girl, your stripes are just the most splendid in that first photo! Dad got a good chuckle out of your mum's frown comment. He says that besides being called "Ducky" when little because he waddled, his mom and dad always made fun of him because he was always scowling or frowning as a child.
Both are a delight to see. A lot of the time a feline's expressions are as much in the human mind as anything. The black and white is a delight.

When I was in elementary school, some kids had brought a spider inside from the playground, then threw it in the air in the classroom.
It landed on me, and I've had a pretty good fear of spiders ever since.
